  1. If you’re going to be vegan, stop eating processed soy products that imitate food and be a vegan. people who say they can’t be vegan because they love cheese wouldn’t become vegan either way. do something like mj does and make your own sauces, but don’t fill your diet with equally unhealthy processed foods. They are no better than any of the processed products everyone else eats, and won’t lead to a healthy lifestyle.

    • I recommend whole foods and making everything from scratch, so certainly not to eat lots of processed fake meats and cheeses. I have had many in my family give up cheese when they never though they would after making some substations like homemade cheezy sauce for veggies or mac and cheese.

  2. Amazing, very useful. I went vegan using only love for animals will power but i wish i knew about avocados, or knew cashew cheese and nutritional yeast. It’s easy being vegan, many delicious food and healthier.

  3. I make this un-cheese sauce:
tumeric powder, add soy milk, nutritional yeast flakes and arrowroot powder (enough to thinken for the amount of milk, which I estimate by eye). Once thickened on the stovetop, I add as little salt as possible to make it delicious. Sometimes I add a drop of oil (literally, a drop) for extra flavor but it isn’t needed. Can also add some kick with mustard. It’s so much better if you can use a vegetable to make the sauce, though. That’s awesome!
